Setting a New Agenda for Medicare's Post-Acute Care Payment Policy October 8, 2025 Hopkins Business of Health Initiative | Johns Hopkins University Policy Convening on The Future of Health Care Delivery Designing Medicare payment policy that promotes effective, efficient post-acute care (PAC) has been a challenge for decades. Incremental refinements have not fully resolved longstanding issues, and the growth of Medicare Advantage is reshaping how beneficiaries receive PAC and how providers deliver it.
