Hiking the Whitetail Trail: Central Parking Area to the Laurel Caverns Access Road

Situated atop the section of Pennsylvania's Chestnut ridge near Uniontown lies the Whitetail trail. It runs nearly 10 miles along the ridge from the Pine Knob Outlook trail near Lick Hollow picnic area, southward to connect with the long run trail at the Quebec Run Wild Area. It ranges in difficulty from easy to quite rugged in a few sections.
