🔵 Ratusan Nasabah Geruduk Bank Mandiri Taspen Purwokerto Tuntut Pembatalan Kredit

Hundreds of protesters, consisting of customers, retirees, and even the children and grandchildren of victims, stormed the Bank Mandiri Taspen Purwokerto office on Friday (June 26, 2026). They demanded that the bank take responsibility for the alleged fraud against the customers and cancel the credit scheme, which they believed had harmed the victims. Since morning, the protesters carried various banners containing their demands. These included "Mandiri Taspen Must Take Responsibility and Cancel the Customer Credit Scheme," "Bank Mantap Is Not Safe, Seniors Are Being Defrauded and Robbed at the Bank," "Stop Shifting Responsibility to Individuals, Fraud Occurs at Banks," and "Cancel Defective Loans, Healthy People Get Credit." During the protest, the protesters urged Bank Mandiri Taspen not only to hand over the case to the legal process but also to take responsibility for the losses suffered by the customers. The Head of the Bank Mandiri Taspen Purwokerto Branch, Puguh Setiaris Wicaksono, addressed the customers and stated that he understood the victims' concerns. However, he emphasized that the resolution of the case must still respect the ongoing legal process. "I feel empathy, but we respect the ongoing process. Everything must comply with police mechanisms," he said. Meanwhile, one of the protesters, Fiki, a resident of Cilongok District, admitted that his father, S (60), a retired civil servant, had been a victim since April 2025.
