How a Finger Injury Changed My Climbing (A4 Pulley Tear Recovery Month 2)

Two months into recovering from my A4 pulley tear, I realized the biggest challenge wasn't rebuilding finger strength...it was rebuilding confidence. In Part 2 of this mini series, we'll chat about my A4 pulley recovery progress, including returning to outdoor bouldering, reintroducing half crimp hangboard training, weighted dead hangs, climbing on slopers and granite slabs, and the mental side of recovering from a climbing finger injury. We'll also talk about overcoming the fear of crimping again, dealing with setbacks, tracking rehab milestones, and why shifting my focus away from grades completely changed how I approached rock climbing and bouldering during recovery. If you're recovering from an A2 or A4 pulley injury, working through finger rehab, looking for hangboard recovery ideas, or simply interested in climbing stronger after injury, I hope sharing my experience helps you navigate the process with a little more confidence and patience ❤️ -- Our Gear & More🙏 -- Where I get music for my vids 🎧: https://share.epidemicsound.com/8x3wba Lucie's ❤️ Climbing Shoes: https://amzn.to/4fOycwb La Sportiva Climbing Shoes: https://amzn.to/4extYqz Boar's Hair Climbing Brush: https://amzn.to/4vV7N4z Climbskin Hand Cream: https://amzn.to/4uPntW5 Climbing Chalk: https://amzn.to/4vBF9G5 Finger Tape: https://amzn.to/4xGBJTO THERABAND Warm-Up Bands: https://amzn.to/4uMtItU Our Wireless Microphones: https://amzn.to/4w1zUiK Insta360 Go Ultra: https://amzn.to/44g885V Joby Flexible Phone Tripod: https://amzn.to/4eujKHb Camera Tripod: https://amzn.to/3QmyvnD Love our content?
