Renal Tubular Acidosis: H+/Base Electrolyte Abnormalities & Clinical Syndromes | Ira Kurtz, MD
Renal tubular acidosis refers to a number of different disorders that have in common acid-base transport abnormalities in the nephron. This talk focuses on the acquired and genetic causes of hypokalemic renal tubular acidosis. In general these disorders are also associated with abnormalities in renal potassium, calcium, and ammonia transport and some are associated with CKD. This video provides an in-depth review of the hypokalemic causes of renal tubular acidosis at the clinical and molecular levels. | November 15, 2021 https://www.uclahealth.org/providers/...
