Restoring A TRUE NITRO RC LEGEND: HOBAO HYPER 7.5!

This is my new (ish) Hobao Hyper 7.5 Hobao/Ofna are well known for creating some of the best RC Cars to date including the Hyper 7, Hyper VSE and of course the Hyper SSTE! These trucks and buggies are sometimes underrated especially by people who primarily run ARRMA and Traxxas vehicles but truthfully these guys can keep up with the best these companies are currently offering! I bought this cheap Hyper 7.5 from eBay and the previous owner told me it had been sitting for years in a garage but when it was new it barely had any use and after one crash it was put away for many years! I had been looking for a cheap hyper for months and I finally stumbled upon this! I offered the owner £80 which is around $99 for it in its current condition and he agreed! It was a deal and I raced over to collect something I haven't seen since my childhood! It needed a good clean-up and some new parts and of course I needed to see if it would start and run. In this video I show you the Hyper in the condition I bought it then I show you what changes I have made and finally we see if it will start and run!
