12. Legibility and Contrast
When we can see and read what is written or perceive the elements of a picture, we call that legibility. Legibility is a function of contrast. This is maybe the most frequent error committed in graphic design in general and in branding design today. Achieving good contrast—and therefore good legibility—is easy, if you know the basic principles.
