It happened when I was driving along a pleasant, winding mountain road and feeling great on my way home. It was a course I'd driven many times. I should have known the bumps and unevenness of the road surface. But, as they say, trouble often follows good fortune. In a place where it's usually no problem, I was suddenly jolted! "Was there a bump here that caused such a strong jolt?" I was only able to think that after a while. In that moment, "Whoa! That was close!" There was an oncoming car, so I was lucky I didn't lose control.
