Forgotten Memories
"Forgotten Memories" is an evocative project generously supported by Creative Laois, exploring the cherished memories of its participants. Through heartfelt conversations with natives of Rathdowney John O’Malley and Barbara Maher, we are transported to a time adorned with reminiscences and poignant moments centred around the town square. The narrative reveals the idyllic essence of a Rathdowney childhood, unveiling treasured locales and remarkable experiences that have left an indelible mark on the storyteller's heart. This project is a video interview with participants. This project was initiated to commemorate the traditions of the past and embrace the possibilities of the future.
