Jeep Compass Alternator Replacement

(Update) If I knew this video would have over 150K views I would have done a better job! Thanks for the positive comments to all. I apologize for leaving out the first steps of the removal like taking off the belt and unbolting the alternator. I really just thought it would be helpful to show how the alternator came out of the car without having to unbolt the engine mounts like Jeep called for. very common problem on the compass. see part 2    • Removing an Alternator on a Jeep Compass, ...   if you're still not sure after this vid the ADP goes bad and takes the pully bearing with it. causes a loud rattle/knocking at idle and while driving and a whining sound on deceleration thanks to jeep not stepping in and taking care of the problem we are left to spend the money at 80-90K miles when this part goes bad couldn't find a vid explaining exactly how to get the alternator out so I made this after I had already gotten mine out. hope it helps someone out there.
