The melody is a mix of Django's version, Stochelo Rosenberg and my own arrangement. I'll guide you note for note through the melody and there is also a slow tempo playthrough of I'll see You in my Dreams Intro and melody towards the end of this guitar lesson. You may know I'll See You In My Dreams from the movie Sweet and Lowdown, where Sean Penn played the world's "second best guitarist", Emmet Ray (after Django Reinhard ;-) This song is definately a Gypsy Jazz standard, and if you're into that genre it's a must know, performed at every gypsy session. I've made the I'll See You In My Dreams backing track in two tempos. Each one has an intro and the head repeated 3 times. Great to practice your solo skills after the Intro and main theme. You could also use my I'll See You In My Dreams guitar backing track to perform the whole song live ( Intro, Melody, 2 Solos, or one solo plus another chorus of the melody). Anyhow, it's great to have the I'll See You In My Dreams play along just for fun too. It's aprofessional recording, so you will enjoy it's quality. I've alos made the I'll See You In My Dreams guitar tab, including standard music notation. I also have a Guitar Pro version.
