PRINT RECIPE for Boiled Corn on the Cob: http://cookinglessonsfordad.com/boile... __________________________ RECIPE: Boiled Corn on the Cob INGREDIENTS: Ears of corn, fresh Water INSTRUCTIONS: 1: Remove the husks and silk from the ears of corn. 2: Fill the pot with enough water to cover the corn. 3: Bring the water to a boil. 4: Carefully drop the corn in the boiling water. 5: Bring the water back to a boil. 6: Simmer the corn 4 - 7 minutes or until the corn is tender. NOTES: Keep the unhusked ears of corn in the refrigerator until you are ready to boil them. The sugar in the corn will quickly turn to starch at room temperature. You can husk the corn while waiting for the water to boil. To remove the silks, hold the corn under running water and brush with a soft vegetable brush.
