Korg Opsix | CELLO | FM custom patch tutorial #1

This is my first FM tutorial. Let me know what you think of it. If you have any suggestions or requests, please let me know, I'm planning to do more of these in the future. I started learning FM synthesis on a borrowed Yamaha V50 synth. Now, I own an original Yamaha DX7 mk1 and a Korg Volca too. Although I love them, programming is quite a pain, and this is where the Opsix shines, I can make adjustments in a couple of seconds, that would take me 10 minutes on the DX7. I became quite familiar with the Korg Opsix, this is a Cello patch I came up with it. It can be reproduced on any FM synth with at least 3 operators and an LFO. Hope you like it. #opsix #FM –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Timestamps: 0:00 Welcome 0:12 INTRO 0:25 Initialisation 0:50 Envelope 1:20 Modulators / Ratios 2:10 Keytracking 3:10 Vibrato – LFO 4:42 Messing with levels 5:35 Reverb 6:10 Feedback 7:00 Final adjusments 7:15 First improv | Eb minor 7:58 Second improv | OUTRO –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Gear: Korg Opsix Behringer UMC 1820 Logic Pro X Arturia Plate-140 Reverb –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Panasonic G80 Fujian CCTV 35mm f1.7 –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Follow me on:   / cinkemusic     / cinkemusic   https://cinkemusic.bandcamp.com design stuff:   / cinketype   photography:   / cinkephoto
