African Village/Women & Kids Cook Mashed Sweet Potatoes & African Eggplant Stew🍠🌿#africa

🌿Welcome to another beautiful day in our African Village! 🌿Today,our family came together to prepare a delicious traditional dinner of smashed sweet potatoes and African eggplant stew. The day started with Auntie Sharifah cutting fresh banana leaves while her grand children gathered firewood for cooking. The sweet potatoes were peeled, cut into cubes, washed thoroughly, and prepared for cooking. After returning with firewood, the children eagerly joined their grandmother in preparing the African eggplants while she arranged the banana leaves that would help the potatoes cook perfectly. The food was then placed on the traditional fire and cooked for about 45 minutes. While waiting, we enjoyed fresh village fruits including oranges, bananas, and sugarcane. Little Kallo brought smiles to everyone when he tried to drink water from a jerrycan by himself. Realizing nobody was free to help, he bravely carried the jerrycan to his grandmother—a true African village child, strong and determined. Meanwhile, Maama Marvin prepared fresh pineapples that would later be served after the meal. Once the potatoes were fully cooked, they were smashed using a traditional wooden stick until they became smooth and chuncky. The African eggplants were then added to fried onions, tomatoes and curry powder. A little water was added, and after 10-13 minutes of simmering, the flavorful stew was ready. The family gathered to enjoy the meal, and the children loved every bite. Even Little Kallo , only one year old, enjoyed the food as if he had eaten it many times before. After dinner, fresh pineapple slices were served, making the meal even more refreshing and complete. This marked the end of another wonderful day filled with family, tradition,laughter,and delicious African Village food. ✨What Image Does the Video Portray .
