Pilea Cadierei | Aluminum Plant care tips

Hi friends! In today's video I'm going to be talking about very attractive houseplant " the aluminum plat". This plant is scientifically known as Pilea Cadierei. Caring tips: 1. Light: Aluminum plants are low light plants. Too much sun will burn the leaves. Indoors place 4-8 feet away from sunny video. 2. Soil: Aluminum plants prefer semi soil mixture to live in. If the soil is too dry, the plant will wilt. On the other hand if the soil is too wet root rot will develop. 3. Temperature: Auminum plant or pilea cadierei thives in consistently warm temperatures. Grows best in room temperature between 70-75°F during the day and 60-70°F at night. 4. Fertilizer: Fertilize every 4-5 weeks during active growing season. Stop fertilizing aluminum plant during winter entirely as tge plant is some what dormant. 5. Water: The soil of aluminum plant should be slightly moist but not soggy. Over watering will cause leaves to wilt or fall off. Keep the soil slightly drier in winter. 6. Humidity: If plant do not receives proper amount of humidity leaves tips will turn brown. Normal humidity will please this plant. Problems: Check root density of Pilea Cadierei every spring. If the roots are becoming over dense transplant it into a larger pot.
