The Fureys - The Red Rose Cafe
"The Red Rose Cafe" is a song that The Fureys are known for. This version is on "The Fureys Finest" which was released in 1995. (It started out as an LP in the 70's and has been reissued numerous times.) The Fureys are one of Ireland's most influential traditional bands. Formed in 1974 by brothers Finbar (who sang lead and played uillean pipes) and Eddie, the group also included younger brothers Paul and George. Davey Arthur also joined in on many of their albums. Enjoy!
