Then, with a close focus on four or five particular paintings, the lecture will explore Ruskin’s distinctive genius in evocative word- painting as he celebrates and critiques Turner and the Pre-Raphaelites. He was the Editor of The Dickensian, the journal of the Dickens Fellowship, and a past President of the Dickens Society of America.
