Royalty: A Princess Leia Tribute

A tribute video to Leia Organa, princess of Alderaan, general of the Resistance, embodiment of hope and the standard in which all other female characters in Star Wars is measured with (and created). Her unending loyalty and fiery spirit has touched generations of fans around the world, including my own. A huge thank you to George Lucas, Julie Dolan, Carolyn Hennesy, and most of all, Carrie Fisher, for bringing us this iconic character. To us, she is royalty. The music used here is 'Nimrod' from Edward Elgar's Enigma Variations, performed by Leonard Bernstein and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. The music is inspired by Elgar's close friend, Augustus Jaeger, who gave him hope to continue composing music during his darkest times, in which I find appropriate for this video as well.
