Hello everyone, and welcome to my new series Monday Musings. 🤍 If you've spent any time in the colouring community, you'll know that we're not the only ones who enjoy a cosy colouring session. Many of us are joined by our feline companions, whether they're supervising from the windowsill, walking across our colouring books, stealing our pencils, or simply curling up beside us while we create. In today's Monday Musings, I'm exploring the special relationship between cats and creativity, looking at why so many artists, writers, and illustrators throughout history have loved the company of cats. From famous literary figures and painters to the colouring community we know today, cats seem to have a remarkable way of becoming part of the creative process. I'll also be celebrating some of our own colouring community's feline friends, including Momo, Shadow, Monty, and Lexy—just a few of the wonderful cats who regularly keep their colourists company and have become familiar faces to many of us. As always, this isn't just a colouring video.
