Experience a beautiful day in our village as we roof Cathy's traditional hut and prepare a traditional meal fresh from the garden. Mama Kityo, Mama Shifrah & Cathy prepared a traditional dish of steamed matooke and smoked beef stew with a side of sikuma wiki. Papa and his elder sons (Deo and Kityo) go to the forest to collect tree poles for roofing Cathy's traditional hut. After a productive day, the hut's roof frame is completed and the whole family enjoy a freshly cooked meal.
