Tour of Foxton Estuary, Beach & Dune Fields Pt 01 041223

A suggestion was made to me to make a video about the Foxton Beach sand dunes (Fox-Tangi Dune Field). I have a lot of videos in my playlist that cover this in various ways, but I thought it might be a challenge to produce a series of videos showcasing Foxton Beach, the Manawatu River estuary and the dune fields. We have a local woman - Jo Roberts - who regularly takes aerial photos of the Foxton Beach area and posts them on the local Foxton Beach Facebook Page. I contacted her and asked whether I could copy her photos to include in my video series and she kindly consented, so they give a little point of difference to the videos I have been producing. I will post a link to Foxton Beach Facebook page below, but you have to apply to join to view the content. I didn't want to start from scratch and shoot fresh video, so I will include a mix of fresh and recycled footage from my playlist. A big shout-out also to my sister - Linda Raynel - for allowing me to use her sunset photo - one of the best I have come across. I don't know how far I will take this series - other priorities may mean I will stop the series, or I will continue for as long as is realistic. If viewers want to see more of what I have produced over the last couple of years, it's all available in my You Tube Channel. If you enjoy my humble efforts, please hit the like button and subscribe to my Channel. Also, forwarding the videos - even if only to your own DM or social media, then deleting them - helps me leverage the You Tube algorithms. Another shout-out to Odile Jouanne (my biggest supporter and friend from day one), Michael Walker (wood-wrangler and artist, early supporter and friend) and Wendy Wilson (for the kind feedback and nudge to tackle this series). I'll drop a link to Mike's FB page below. Visit, and be amazed. Enjoy (or not lol) .....
