Mega Pickup Build - Detroit Diesel 453T Engine Removal For My 1975 Dodge D600 (And Much More)

A couple months ago, I got lucky and bought this sweet, relatively solid 1975 Dodge D600 medium duty truck. It does kinda run and kinda move, with a tired 413 industrial Chrysler big block and Allison automatic engine currently residing between the frame rails. But I have no interest in any of that. Instead, I've got my eye on Detroit Diesel power and a 13 speed truck transmission - for maximum hauling capabilities, but more importantly for maximum fun. Today, we're going to pluck the Detroit 453T Silver Series engine that we got running in the last video out of a fuel tanker in the junkyard. We'll also talk transmissions, exhaust stacks, and various other components for this upcoming mega pickup build.
