Guitar Tips with Tariq Harb - Play Fast While Maintaining Good Tone (Part 4)
Guitarist Tariq Harb shares tips on how to develop a solid foundation to playing fast while maintaining good tone. Implementing sequential and packaged planting in the right hand when playing arpeggios in Part 4 of this series (watch Part 1: • Guitar Tips with Tariq Harb - Play Fast Wh... , Part 2: • Guitar Tips with Tariq Harb - Play Fast Wh... and Part 3: • Guitar Tips with Tariq Harb - Play Fast Wh... if you haven't already), I demonstrate how to properly plant the fingers of the right hand to achieve economy of motion when playing ascending and descending arpeggio. Using one passage from the Concierto de Aranjuez Cadenza, I demonstrate how to dilute arpeggios to their basic format so that practicing them can be a clear and concise process. This topic will have more parts to it which I will be sharing soon! I'll be sharing more exercises like this one here on my channel every now and then. If you find this helpful to your playing subscribe so you can get more tips like this in the future! Also - what topics would you like to see covered in these mini tutorials?
