In Japan, as summer approaches, we take great care to protect ourselves from the sun with parasols and arm covers. But the British...the moment the sun comes out, they go a little crazy (lol). In this video, I'll give a lighthearted explanation from a British perspective on why Brits become such obvious tourists when they travel abroad. From the "lobster theory" of getting sunburned and turning bright red, the sunbed wars that start at 6 AM, the story of people seeking out British pubs rather than local cuisine despite being abroad, and even the "24-hour party culture" seen in Ibiza and Magaluf— I'll talk about the realities of the "Brits Abroad" phenomenon, including my own experiences.
