James turns up at Ste's house the next morning and Ste wants to look after him after what he's been through. At The Dog, Ste overhears JP referring to the fact that James spent the evening with a prostitute. The have an argument and James tells him to get out of his life. Ste knows James doesn't mean it and James breaks down and explains what he's been feeling since Marnie died, Ste comforting him with a hug. They then discuss what they can do to stop James being reckless and James asks Ste to keep his wallet, so he can't spend money. Ste does, promises James he will help him get through this, and kisses him. Later James is tempted to transfer Romeo, Juliet and Donna-Marie's inheritance money to himself and tries calling Ste to stop himself. Ste, however, doesn't pick up and James completes the transfer, then invests it in Cryptocurrency.
