The 1998 TDK CDing2: A Desperate Reach?

In this video, I take a look at the 1998 TDK CDing2, a low-end Type II cassette tape. This was made when the cassette tape had essentially already lost to the CD in terms of sales and popularity, and cassette companies were really advertising their tapes for "digital" use. I talk about its history and design, then I test it on my Pioneer T-D7 cassette deck. The song used is from the YouTube Audio Library, and all audio is completely raw and unprocessed.
