Beyond KM 100! Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway Enters Ogun State | Section 4A Update, Olokola Corridor
In this episode, we pick up from where our last documentary ended at KM 93 in Igbogu, where the Concrete Pavement works had reached during our previous visit. Returning to the project, we discovered that concrete pavement has now advanced to KM 96 at Imusan, marking another major milestone in the construction of this coastal mega highway. We also take you behind the scenes of the extensive drainage construction works at Imusan, where engineers are building the critical drainage infrastructure that will protect the highway from flooding and ensure its long-term durability. Our journey continues beyond Lagos State into Section 4A in Ogun State, where construction is steadily progressing. From large-scale earthworks and alignment preparation to the massive corridor clearing, we document how engineers are transforming challenging coastal terrain into the foundation of one of Africa's largest highway projects. We also visit Olokola, close to the former Olokola LNG (OKLNG) project office, where the highway passes through a strategically important industrial corridor. Although construction in this area remains at the alignment and earthwork stage, the scale of preparation provides a glimpse into what will eventually become another completed section of this transformational project. Join us as we explore one of Nigeria's biggest abandoned infrastructure projects and examine what it means for the country's energy future. 👍 If you enjoyed this documentary, don’t forget to LIKE, COMMENT, and SUBSCRIBE for more stories documenting communities, infrastructure, development, and untold realities across Nigeria. 👍 Don’t forget to Like, Comment, and Subscribe for more updates on major construction projects across Nigeria. 🔔 Turn on notifications so you don’t miss upcoming videos on Lagos infrastructure. 📌If you like what you just watched, kindly subscribe to my channel.
