The Saddell Skull: Superstition and Sacrifice (Superstitions and Traditions)

Consider supporting me on Patreon:   / liathwolf   Quite often in old tales and stories we hear about the brave young hero, setting out on a quest to win the hand of a fair maiden, this usually is done by completing a great task and impressing the previously mentioned maiden or more commonly her father, who would hold tight to the rights of his daughter, until he was swayed by our hero. This long established trope, would seem to have been entirely turned upon its head in today’s Scottish tale.
