Oil painting with Palette Knife

Using a palette knife is great fun. Plus clean up is a breeze! Use lots of paper towels in between colors. This video shows a quick approach to putting in blocks of colors and carve out shapes and masses. While you can work in layers, waiting for each layer to dry, in this video it's alla prima and banging it out in just under a half hour.
