Today I wanted to make a video talking about how I got out of debt after physical therapy school. I did 7 years (Master's program at the time) The short and sweet of the video: I (try to) practice financial minimalism, which is a fancy way of saying I try to spend less on things I chose a state school for undergrad and physical therapy school which is why my loans after 6 years are so low (graduated in 2012) I went through Dave Ramsey's steps - basically established an emergency fund which I was lucky to receive in a lump sum as a "sign on bonus" (common in the PT world) And every dollar after that was sent off to loans for 3.5 years.
