Septa Autumn SL5 RFW from Philadelphia to Paoli down the old PRR Main Line. 10/23/25

We enjoy a cab ride from 30th Street Station Philadelphia to Paoli down the 4 track Main Line of the former PRR. This was the first section of the PRR to be electrified on a grand scale back in 1915. We see the Autumn color as we pass quaint stations serving the elegant communities along the way. We also pass many trains including the new Amtrak Cascades Airo Train being ferried to Philadelphia for further testing on the NEC. All stations and interlockings are identified as well as signal indications. The indications given are based on NORAC rules that apply to many railroads in the Northeast.
