Jim Meyer and Pam Rubenstein in Concert

On July 29, 2023, Jim and Pam performed a Summer Concert for an audience gathered at the Sanctuary of Sufism Reoriented in Walnut Creek, California. The concert featured some of their favorite songs celebrating Meher Baba . Jim Meyer is a musical and artistic talent extraordinaire. In December 1968, Meher Baba designated Jim “one of his chief young lover-workers in the United States and England”. For over fifty years, Jim has been singing and recording music dedicated to Meher Baba, performing at numerous Baba functions worldwide. For many years, he performed at the Meher Spiritual Center while he was the night watchman there. Pam Rubenstein is from a musical family. In her twenties, she began performing onstage. In 1993 she came into Meher Baba’s contact. Bhau asked Pam to put the Prayer of Repentance to music, which she did. In 2022 her husband, Danny, passed away, but Pam continued writing songs, with Baba’s divine inspiration. In 2023 she recorded an eighteen-song CD, Original Sound, which has already garnered rave reviews.
