Grate the cucumbers and carrots on a coarse grater. 2. Adjust the amount of salt to your taste. 3. The amount of sugar depends on the acidity of the tomatoes and tomato paste. Therefore, adjust to your taste. 4. If you are using very overripe cucumbers, remove any tough seeds first. 5.
