Faire du purin de consoude

Comfrey manure is a plant growth stimulant. Hubert Fontaine explains how to make this natural fertilizer, including proportions, step-by-step instructions, and monitoring of the fermentation process. #manure #comfrey #naturalfertilizer In a previous video, Hubert Fontaine demonstrated the benefits of comfrey in the garden for its nectar-producing properties. He also noted that plants grown near Caucasian comfrey seemed healthier (   • La consoude du Caucase  ). It appears that an extract of Caucasian comfrey (Symphytum caucasicum) or common comfrey (Symphytum officinale) stimulates cell division in plants and therefore promotes their growth. How to make comfrey manure? To make comfrey manure, you typically use 1 kg of fresh material for 10 liters of water. Since we don't always have scales handy in the garden, Hubert Fontaine offers an easy recipe (the proportions are based on a simple proportion): 1. Harvest the aerial parts of the comfrey. 2. In a plastic or wooden container (an 80L bin, for example), cut the stems, leaves, and flowers together with pruning shears. 3. Fill the 80-liter bin halfway (40 liters) with chopped comfrey, which is equivalent to about 3 kg of fresh comfrey. 4. Add 30 liters of rainwater, or three 10-liter watering cans. 5. Stir the mixture once a day. Let it ferment for 8 to 15 days (fermentation is faster when the outside temperature is high). Tip: Fermentation is complete when no more bubbles rise. In an upcoming video, Hubert Fontaine will explain how to filter this comfrey macerate. 0:00 Making Comfrey Manure 0:28 Benefits of Comfrey Manure 0:45 How to Make Comfrey Manure 2:21 Conclusion
