Aukey EP-T21 TWS Unboxing, Setup and Review

Hello Everyone! For this week's unboxing I'm checking out the Aukey EP-T21 TWS Bluetooth headset. *As always, this is NOT a sponsored review, nor am I affiliated with the manufacturer or seller in any way. I DID NOT receive any kind of commission for this video.* Final Grade: A I was pleasantly surprised with these. I had tried out another Aukey headset about a year and a half ago and while it was nice, it was overpriced. This on the other hand brings a fantastic value. It does what everyone wants a Bluetooth headset to do at a very reasonable price of $29.99 (typically discounted to $20-25). The sound quality is great. The vocals are very clear and it's got just enough thump. The bass isn't the best, but it is pretty decent, especially considering the price point. I also want to be clear about the sound: they don't sound as good as Airpods or Galaxy Buds, but I would say it's far better than other headsets at this price. The microphone is surprisingly decent. I had little hope that it would be considering the price and the fact that Bluetooth microphones aren't that great on Android in the first place. Of course, it isn't as good as the Airpods or the Galaxy Buds, but it does the job. In the second mic test clip I am crumpling paper in the background, but the mic does a good job being able to single out my voice. The battery life on this is decent as well. You get 5hrs of play time and the case can recharge the buds up to 7 times for a total of 35hrs of playback. The form factor is really nice as well. The imitate the Airpods style that so many have come to love, but it's noticeably different. The size is larger in every aspect, however, despite the size difference these are still pretty light and comfortable to use. Also these have the in ear design, so you get better noise isolation and stability than the Airpods. Here are the things that could use improvement: 1) The case doesn't tell you how much of a charge it has. The indicators only tell you when the case is charging. It offers no indicators to tell you if the battery is running low or if the buds are charged; this was a clear oversight. 2) No wireless charging; not a biggie, but definitely something I look for nowadays. 3) It has Micro-USB instead of USB Type C. None of these cons are too major, and I'm cutting this headset a lot of slack because it's so cheap If I'm being completely honest- at this price point I was ready to make a whole lot more concessions, but this headset cut the right corners. They didn't sacrifice the mic or sound quality and that's what is really going to matter in the long run.
