By combining our workouts with #PKCslim, you can achieve even better results. A little about PKC: why does it work? By alternating protein and carbohydrate days, your metabolism doesn't slow down, as it does with a no-carb or low-carb diet. The body doesn't have time to adapt to a sudden change in diet, meaning it has no chance to accumulate fat reserves; instead, it burns existing ones. The BUCH diet helps maintain a positive mood; diets with strict restrictions often cause depression. Protein-carbohydrate cycling combines well with physical activity, providing both energy (carbohydrates) and protein (the building blocks of muscle). Basically, only fat is lost! Muscle mass is not lost. The BUCH diet has no contraindications, but there are restrictions for people with complex gastrointestinal conditions and kidney disease.
