Babycastles Academy: Intro to Livecoding with TidalCycles

Babycastles Academy is the education arm of Babycastles. Join us on Sunday afternoons at 3pm for workshops and jam sessions. Learn new skills. Make new friends. Join Dan Gorelick for a workshop on making music (live) with code. The workshop will focus on TidalCycles, which is a free and open-source tool that allows you to create musical patterns with code. The workshop will cover different methods for creating music live with TidalCycles. If you would like to follow along, please have TidalCycles installed and running on your machine. Installation can be quite a process, so please refer to the links below for help getting up and running! Experience needed to get TidalCycles running is the ability to run commands in the terminal, as well as some debugging skills (it is live “coding” after all).
