Is this the worst city in JAVA?

I spend the day exploring Semarang city. A city in the middle of Indonesia's largest island, Java. I started the day off at the train museum which is right in the middle of the city, but to be honest i couldn't learn much there as there were no information signs in English. I did get a great CFC though! After leaving here i headed over the road to the local monument of Indonesia. Every city in Indonesia has a monument to the battle of independence and Semarang is no different. This is called Tugu Muda and is small but beautifully designed sitting in the middle of a roundabout with a colourful garden to sit and enjoy it in. The weather was super hot in the middle of the day so the urge to get an ice cream took over so i headed over to Kota Tua which is the old town. Here you can see lots of the dutch influence in their architecture and design. Not much to do here so after the ice cream and a quick visit to an art gallery i felt done with my day and headed back to the hotel. Come and explore with me...
