SOLD- absolutely stunning example of the first generation Thunderbird from Ford, a 1957 model in gorgeous bright red over white leather.  This very low mileage vehicle was given a complete frame-off restoration in 2004, and remains in exceptional cosmetic and mechanical condition today. The very high quality paint gleams like new, and feels soft to the touch, and the interior is in exceptional condition with fresh leather, immaculate chrome, and impeccable trim throughout. The hard and soft tops come with the vehicle, with the hard top color matched in red, and the soft top in white - both seal extremely well and look as new. Mechanically, the 292ci V8 fires right to life, and runs extremely well - it is original and numbers matching. The three speed gearbox shifts very well with excellent clutch feel, and the brakes work as well as 1957 engineering allows. All in all, this is a show quality classic Thunderbird ready for showing, driving and collecting.
