Classroom Companions Program at Erin's House

Classroom Companions is an Erin's House for Grieving Children school-based grief support program for students who have experienced a death. Through peer connection, activities, and guided discussions, students learn healthy coping skills and discover they are not alone in their grief. The program is provided free of charge to schools and families. Erin's House staff and trained volunteers come directly to participating schools, where students meet for one hour each week for six weeks during the school day. By bringing support directly to schools, Classroom Companions helps ensure grieving students have access to the care they need.
