I Swapped the BYD SIM Card - Do App & OTA Still Work?

My included data plan in BYD Seal expired a while ago, and in my earlier video I presented the connectivity options: 1. buy BYD Connect (keep existing sim card), 2. use mobile hotspot, or 3. replace the sim card with your own custom sim card with new data plan. In this video I'll do the SIM card swap in practice and test what happens; does the car find the internet connection on maps/navi, browser and Spotify, can it perform the OTA version check and is BYD mobile app still available for remote use? Also I show how to resolve one critical problem with the remote use with mobile app when using a custom SIM card. Note: before changing SIM card, make sure your car supports this (varies by region, car model and software version).
