Marshall 1959HW | Dookie Mod | The Sound That Was In My Head |
I finally got my Marshall 1959hw head back from a mod session. This amp now has the Dookie mod (sometimes called the Bradshaw mod) which takes the 2 channels and cascades the gain stages along with adding a master volume. It has transformed the amp. Bone crushing amounts of gain and all the same attack and punch that it used to have. Im actually so happy I can barely describe it. The sound that was in my head is actually at my fingertips now. Of course the search for tone is never ending, but this amp now sounds how I always wished it did. Massive thanks to Dale Sherlock of Sherlock amps for doing the mod work for me. Thanks for watching.
