We only harvest Construction Furniture Grade “A” Poles that are straight, disease & imperfection free, and must be in the optimal age range of 3-4 years old (under or over this age is low quality & not optimal) BORON TREATMENT Submerged in our 3 part proprietary treatment solution for unrivaled protection from fungus and wood boring insects and with the added benefit of also being a fire retardant. DRYING Dried to 12-14% moisture content (prior to construction) This is very important! If not dried properly prior to construction, shrinkage will occur causing loose and failing joints and loss of structural integrity. FIT & FINISH Finished to Export/Fine Furniture Quality Grade Only grade “A” poles used in all our construction. Peeled and sanded to perfection. All parts are matched in tone & color for a superior finished product. PREMIUM FINISH with UV We apply our proprietary custom made polyurethane coating specifically designed for Bamboo with high UV protection. PLUGS IN ALL CRITICAL JOINTS Means No cracking and splitting of critical joints We don’t use ANY inferior Coco lumber, we use only Palachina and Mahogany hardwood. GLUE Where glue is required, we use only Water Resistant Class 3 - E1. EPOXY All joints are assembled to the highest tolerances utilizing a construction grade 2 part epoxy. This means unbelievable strength, as a matter of fact the bamboo will fail before the joint ever fails. FASTENERS Where fasteners are required, we offer many options ranging from natural bamboo pegs, rattan, abaca steel, zinc coated and stainless steel bolts.
