The Lost Silver Mine of Southern Illinois
Join me as I go on a hike to the Lost Silver Mine of Southern Illinois located very close to Old Stoneface in Saline County. I've been invited by two local history buffs, Brian DeNeal of Springhouse magazine and Saline County Historical Society President Mark Motsinger. Brian planned to drop his GoPro down the well tied to a cord and see what was down there. It was a hot and humid walk over some challenging terrain with a bit of bushwhacking but we found the Mine and successfully sent the remote camera down. This is what we saw. www.springhousemagazine.com
