嗨大家我是Jo 👋 上支影片我跟大家說過，我是今年2月才認識上帝，然後受洗成為基督徒的。但我一直沒有告訴大家，這件事到底是怎麼發生的。所以這支影片想跟大家聊聊，我是怎麼變成一個基督徒的。 2月之前，我的信仰生活其實一直都很平凡。我來自一個道教家庭，跟很多台灣家庭一樣：阿公阿嬤會在初一十五拜拜，我則是在特定節日跟家人去廟裡上香。老實說，我不算是一個特別需要信仰的人，比較像是跟著家人走完這些習慣。 那時候我的觀念是：神明是有靈性的，拿著香就可以跟神明說話，希望祂們保佑家人平安。不過我從來沒有真的很盡心地祈求、渴望與神明有更深的連結。 大家還記得幾年前很紅的「顯化」（manifestation）嗎？當時大家都說，你真心想要什麼，宇宙就會帶給你什麼。我也開始把一切想要的都交給宇宙，事情如願的時候就說「謝謝宇宙」、「謝謝吸引力法則」。我完全不是那種會主動尋求上帝的人，更別說那時候我根本還不認識上帝。 所以當事情真的如我所願的時候，我從來沒有想過：也許我該感謝的不是宇宙，而是宇宙背後那位更大的力量，一直在守護著我。 今天的分享先到這裡，記得收看下一支影片，看看到底是什麼改變了我 Hi everyone, I'm Jo 👋 In my last video I mentioned that I only came to know God this past February, and was baptized soon after. What I never explained was how it actually happened — so this video is about how I became a Christian. Before February, my spiritual life was pretty ordinary. I come from a Taoist family, much like many families in Taiwan: my grandparents would burn incense on the 1st and 15th of the lunar month, and I'd go to the temple with my family on certain festivals. Honestly, I wasn't someone who felt a deep need for faith — I was mostly just going through the motions with my family. Back then my understanding was that deities have spirits, and that holding incense let you speak to them, hoping they'd keep your family safe. But I never really prayed with my whole heart, or longed for a deeper connection with them. Do you remember a few years ago when "manifestation" was everywhere? The idea that if you sincerely wanted something, the universe would bring it to you. I started handing everything I wanted over to "the universe," and whenever things worked out I'd say "thank you universe" or "thank you Law of Attraction." I wasn't someone actively seeking God — let alone someone who even knew Him yet. So when things did work out the way I wanted, it never crossed my mind that maybe I shouldn't have been thanking the universe at all — that there was a far greater power behind it, watching over me the whole time.
