Thrust Bearing in VT Pump Explained

Thrust Bearings (Axial Load Handling) ​VTPs generate massive downward hydraulic axial thrust due to the weight of the long shaft and the downward force of the impellers pushing fluid upward. ​Where are they located? In standard VTP designs, there is no thrust bearing inside the pump pump itself.
