Don't go Dorman! Ford 2V PI Intake Repair! Crown Vic, Mustang, Grand Marquis, Town Car.
As many of you know, Dorman and other aftermarket intakes for the Ford 4.6L 2V PI mod motor rob power, up to 25hp/tq! Although the Ford factory PI intake is no longer available new, that doesn't mean that you have to settle for a power robbing Dorman or other aftermarket intake. If your Ford PI intake has failed and is leaking coolant, you may be able to repair it! I'll walk you through repairing a junkyard pull PI intake and putting it all back together. This intake will be going on the cammed Auto Cross Mercury Grand Marquis to hopefully gain back the 25hp the current Dorman intake is killing!
