An Amber extreme heat warning remains in place today with a red warning starting tomorrow morning. Dry with clear spells for many places whilst there will be thicker cloud and some showery rain across north, northwest Scotland and Northern Ireland. Temperatures will remain high overnight; It’s likely to be an uncomfortable night for sleeping.
