Bailing On A Friend

The plaintiffs say the defendant hired them to fix up the body and paint job on a rusty bus he wanted to sell. They claim their former friend is now refusing to pay them for all their hard work, so they’re suing for materials and labor. The defendant claims the plaintiffs took their own sweet time and did a lousy job. He’s countersuing for the cost of repairing the work. Case 29-061
