2025年7月5日＠王子ホール 箏衛門30周年記念コンサート ～30年間の共鳴、そして未来へ～ 正確にシンクロする箏衛門の演奏からインスピレーションを受け、この作品は椋鳥の群れが空を飛び渡る動きを描写している。 鳥の群れが、自然と変幻自在に同じ動きをする現象はmurmurationといい、それにリーダーや計画はない。代わりに椋鳥たちは、周りの動きを見ているのではないかと専門家はいう。中央にいる鳥は、周りを全方向で見ることができ、群れの端まで、そしてその彼方も見える。不思議と全体の動きを把握し、それに合わせる。murmurationという言葉は、このような鳥の群れの何千もの翼の音や鳴き声から聞こえるmurmur(低いざわめき、ささやき)から来ている。 遥か遠くからゆっくりと近づきながら段々鮮明になっていく本作品の数々のモチーフは、この特異な現象にヒントを得ている。急速な変化をし、抽象的な形も作りながら、奏者たちは離れては融合する。常に方向転換を行い、最後には一つとなって着地する。(作曲者) 2025年 箏衛門委嘱初演 箏1：カーティス・パターソン　磯貝真紀 箏2：野口貴子　三浦可栄 十七絃1：マクイーン時田深山　林千佳 十七絃2：神谷舞　宇佐見明子 動画作成：広瀬正裕 Performed on July 5th, 2025 At Soemon 30th Anniversary Concert Ginza ̄Ōji Hall, Tokyo Inspired by Soemon's precisely synchronous performances, Murmurations describes the movements of a flock of starlings.   Murmurations have no leader and follow no plan. Instead, scientists believe movements are coordinated by starlings observing what others around them are doing. Birds in the middle can see through the flock on all sides, to its edge and beyond. Somehow they keep track of how the flock is moving as a whole and adjust accordingly. This special kind of flock is named for the sound of a low murmur it makes from thousands of wingbeats and soft flight calls. Appearing in the distance and slowly coming into focus, Murmurations' themes take their form from this unique phenomenon.  Making quick sharp changes and taking abstract forms, the players split apart and come together again, constantly changing directions before finally coming to rest in unity.(Composer) Commissioned by SOEMON in 2025.
